MBJ20 is a handheld device that is used in clinically examining neonate jaundice. The transcutaneous concentration of bilirubin relative to the serum bilirubin concentration can be identified right away without going through an invasive process. The detector is merely placed on the skin of the neonate. This prevents any pain caused by blood collection, minimizes costs due to immediate test results, and improves the efficiency of personnel.Note : The results of Transcutaneous Bilirubinometer may be effected by Skin colour variations,It a point of care device, for a rough evaluation of Bilirubin in neonates.
